Title: Three Simple Words

Series: Kingston Ale House #3

Genres: Adult, Entangled: Select, Contemporary Romance

She’s holding out for a happy ever after.

Annie
I know where to find my happily ever after—between the pages of a romance novel. It’s why I sell books, why I blog about them, and why I’ll never get disappointed by love.So what if my brother’s best friend from high school is now a bestselling author? Or that he just blew back into town on a Harley, filling out a pair of jeans like he never did before? Or that he’s agreed to do a signing at my bookstore on such short notice? Because despite all his adoring female fans, I kind of hated his book.
Wes
The last time I saw Annie Denning, she was a senior in high school, three years older than me and way out of my league.
Now I’m her last-minute date to a wedding, and what started as a night of pure fun has turned into something more real than either of us anticipated.
Annie is my muse. When I’m with her, my writer’s block fades away, and the words finally flow.
The only problem? She wants the fairy tale—her very own happily ever after—and anyone who’s read my book knows the truth. I just don’t believe they exist.

How far will one man go for the woman he's loved since high school?

Jamie Kingston has been Brynn Chandler's best friend since middle school. Only once was their friendship tested—when Brynn gave Jamie a single kiss. Since then, they've had an unspoken agreement never to cross that line again, and she’s ready to let go of the past and move on.

But Jamie has loved Brynn for as long as he can remember, and now that he's ready to tell her, she has her sights set on someone else. Knowing this is his last chance, he asks Brynn to go on a two-week road trip. But their time alone brings old hurts to the surface, and Brynn has to decide if the one that got away lies at the end of the journey or if he's been by her side all along.

#SixMonths
She created the game, but the rules are about to change.

The second I met Will Evans in his three-piece suit with that hot as hell British accent, I wanted him.

That is...until he insulted my shoes and stole my corner office.

Now I have to work side-by-side with the surly British arsehole who just set my career back six months.

It's fine. That accent won't get to me, no matter how sexy it sounds when he asks permission to do things professionals shouldn't do. On the couch. In the corner office I still wish was mine.

Maybe we can't keep our hands off each other, but I'm sure as hell not falling for a guy who lives an ocean away. Because in six months, he's leaving for good.

I don't do broken hearts, but you know what they say...

There's a first time for everything.

Each book in the Kingston Ale House series is a standalone, full-length story that can be enjoyed out of order.

“I think we have time for a couple more questions,” Wes said as he looked out onto a sea of smiling, beautiful faces. One of the perks of the job for sure.

A hand shot up from the center of the crowd, and Wes nodded toward the woman. She stood, blond waves tumbling over her shoulders and directing his eyes right to where her breasts swelled beneath her shape-hugging sweater.

His lips curved upward. She glanced down to where his gaze rested below her eyes and offered a coy smile of her own. Then she surveyed his form, starting from his head and traveling lazily to just below the belt. She raised her brows with what felt to him like approval. She glanced up, and he met her stare with unabashed boldness.

“You…have a question?” he asked.

“Yes,” she answered without hesitation. “Your hero, Ethan, is a very skilled lover in Down This Road. Tell me, do you write from experience or just base those scenes on extensive—research?”

He flashed her a roguish smile and leaned back against the signing table, running a hand through his light brown waves.

“I like to think of experience as research,” he said. “And I’m always looking to learn something new—for the sake of the next book, of course.”

The woman narrowed her stare and pressed her lips into a knowing smile.

“The oral sex!” a petite brunette with a pixie cut blurted from her seat before he could ask for the last question, and gasps and murmurs echoed among the seated crowd. “The oral sex scenes were my favorite,” she said with a slight tremble in her voice. “He wasn’t just a skilled lover but an attentive one. I think that’s one of the reasons why all those women were forgiving of his inability to commit. Because—because—”

“The oral sex,” Wes said, finishing her thought, and she nodded vigorously.

His agent, Max, shot up from his stool at the bar. “And, that’s it for questions, ladies. Let’s give Mr. Hartley here a few minutes to grab a drink, and then he’ll be signing for those of you who purchased books.”

Max ushered him toward the bar as he thanked the crowd for their patience.

“You really are an asshole,” Max said. “Seriously. You’ve fucking ruined sex for those of us with wives and partners who expect us to be able to do what Ethan can do. If you didn’t pack houses like this with readers willing to throw their money at you, I’d cut you loose right now.”

Wes ordered his drink and laughed. “I could do a how-to manual next if you want. Maybe a YouTube video? Or how about this? If you’re doing it wrong, ask her how the hell you can do it right.”

“Fuck you,” Max said. “It’s not that easy.”

Wes raised a brow. “Have you ever asked your wife what she likes?”

Max laughed. “You mean other than her personal shopper at Bloomingdales?” He went silent for a moment, and then his eyes widened. “Jesus, you’re a genius, Hartley.”

Wes took a slow sip of his drink. “True—but I don’t follow.”

Max pulled his phone from his pocket and began hammering out a text. When he finished he looked at Wes again. “I just told her I’m meeting her at Bloomingdale’s after my breakfast meeting tomorrow. In a fitting room. Where I’m prepared to ask her what she’d like.”

Wes laughed and shook his head. “That’s one way to go about it. Feel free to bring the book if you want to reference a specific scene.”

“Speaking of books…” Max said, but Wes cut him off.

“There’s a line at the signing table. I’ll catch you after?”

He didn’t wait for Max’s response. He was on too much of a high from the Q&A. Now wasn’t the time to get into book two—or the current lack thereof. He had a line of women waiting for him, and he wasn’t one to disappoint.

Wes scrawled his name across the title page along with his signature phrase, “Enjoy the journey.” He slid the book back to the woman, enjoying the flush that grew in her cheeks as her hand accidentally brushed his.

“Thanks for coming out tonight,” he said, lifting his rocks glass in a gesture of cheers before he threw back what was left of his scotch. The woman from the Q&A—the one so curious about his research—bit her lip and smiled, glancing behind her to the handful of other women still in line. When she looked back at him, she swiped a tongue over her painted bottom lip and tucked her blond waves behind her ear.

“Will you be staying for drinks after the signing?” she asked, her tone full of innocence, but her blue eyes brimming with heat.

Wes noted his empty glass and gave her one of his patented “Wes Hartley author” grins.

“It does look like I’m in need of a refill,” he said.

She pressed her hands to the table and leaned forward, whispering in his ear, “Then I guess I’ll see you at the bar.”

“I guess you will.”

No sooner had she ducked out of line than the next woman placed her book on the signing table. “Can I get a picture with you?” she asked.

“Oooh, I’ll take it for you!” the woman behind her said. “If you’ll take one of me and Wes with my phone when you’re done!”

And there she was—the woman without a question at all who just wanted to talk oral sex—rounding the table before he had time to think. And then she slid onto his goddamn lap. Wes glanced toward the bar where Max still sat, and the man raised both a brow and a glass. Wes shrugged. This was the part of the job he’d never get tired of.

He encouraged the woman to wrap her arms around his neck, then tilted her down into an almost kiss.

She gasped. “This is just like that first time in Natasha’s apartment where Ethan tells her the relationship can’t move forward and then he lays her out on the butcher block table and—”

“The oral sex,” Wes said.

She swallowed hard, apparently unable to respond as she squirmed against his thighs.

** I RECEIVED AN ARC IN EXCHANGE OF AN HONEST REVIEW **
Lately, I have seen and read (a few) books where our heroes are in the center of the book lover porn world, you know, now they are writers, readers, agents, editors, and so on. And I think they (books) are so so good to enjoy. Besides, so far I have loved the Kingston Ale House series —the three books, which BTW have new covers that are OMG! So yes, I am not new in the KAH world, but if you are, then it is nothing bad because they ARE standalone books, and there are just three of them so you can catch up easily.

In the third book we have a peculiar sexy/cute couple who, before everything changed, knew each other in a different way. Annie is Wes' best friend's older sister —they have a very difference perspective or notion about HEA, she believes in them but mostly she believes that HEA books happen in real life, and he does not —he is more like enjoy-the-moment-with-whatever-her-name-is kind.
Annie is a book-lover, book-blogger, book-everything who has her own bookstore <3, she is very independent, passionate, and with her head (a little) in the clouds when it comes to realizing that what she has in front is a well-known-HEA-without-the-endings. Anyways, she was very appealing for me, because there are parts of her that made me feel very close to her feelings.
Wes, what can I say about his guy? He is a writer who is in a writer's block but who seems to have found his muse. He is half cute, and half dumb (because come on guy! You must do something and not just sit there waiting for others to do something in order to have what you want) but he is sexy.
So when their worlds collide is when the real magic starts.

He'd never seen himself as the hero type, but for one night he could play the part if it meant one night with her.

I liked the plot, AJ has one different for each book. And they are fantastic! How both went from secret to exposed, how they handle all the adversities that came in their way and how everything worked at the end. It is a cute, sexy, hilarious story that will surprise you with every twist. HEAs are everywhere for you to enjoy, just take a chance with this series and you will develop feelings (fall in love with them) for sure. Enjoy!

AJ Pine writes stories to break readers’ hearts, but don’t worry—she’ll mend them with a happily ever after. As an English teacher and a librarian, AJ has always surrounded herself with books. All her favorites have one big commonality–romance. Naturally, her books have the same. When she’s not writing, she’s of course reading. Then there’s online shopping (everything from groceries to shoes) and, of course, a tiny bit of TV where she nourishes her undying love of vampires and superheroes. And in the midst of all of this, you’ll also find her hanging with her family in the Chicago burbs.

Cemetery Tours By Jacqueline E. Smith

Book #1 I received an ARC for an honest review and that's what I plan to give!

26007061“Michael had learned the hard way that nothing good came from interfering in the affairs of the afterlife.”

“They’d never scared him, really.  When he was younger, he hadn’t known that there was anything different about them.  By the time he was old enough to figure out that no one else could see them, he was also old enough to realize that being dead didn’t turn people into monsters.  It just meant that most of them were lonely. ”

Cemetery Tours (Cemetery Tours #1)

Some secrets are best kept laid to rest.

At least, that's as far as Michael Sinclair is concerned. At twenty-seven, he has spent his entire life pretending that the ghosts he encounters on a daily basis do not exist. Now, if only the dead would let him rest in peace.

Unfortunately, that doesn't seem likely, especially after Kate Avery and her ailing brother, Gavin, move in next door. Kate and Gavin are haunted, and not by a dearly departed loved one. This spirit is aggressive, menacing, and harboring a dark resentment toward Gavin. In spite of every instinct advising him to walk away, Michael finds himself seeking to uncover the mysteries of Gavin's past and falling for the bright and lovely Kate. Yet competing for her affection is Luke Rainer, television's hottest celebrity ghost hunter and the only (living) person to know Michael's secret.

But the dead have secrets, too. Some will go to any length to withhold what should have gone with them to the grave, while others will risk everything to make their voices heard, even if that means putting another's life at stake. Now, for the sake of friends and strangers alike, Michael must choose between preserving his cherished anonymity and lending his aid to those for whom all hope seems lost.

Review: Cemetry Tours book one was amazing. I have never read a paranormal novel, mainly because they weren't my type. But the description and book cover drew me in. While reading I had so many questions and was trying to play detective to figure out why Gavin was so sick? Throughout the novel, you are entertained. The novel Cemetry Tours is comical , witty and fasted paced. I enjoyed that we didn't have to wait forever for Kate and Michael to find each other. There are so many twists and turns with this book that I absolutely didn't see coming! I couldn't put it down! I had to know what happened next. Love the plot and the characters so much! This book is amazing there are so many secrets and adventures! I totally recommend this book.

Welcome to my #ReviewTourStop for Hooked On Love by Jennie Marts !!!

Series: Cotton Creek, #2

Chicago City Girl Tackles Colorado Mountains with Sexy, Reclusive Guide

Avery Oliver can see the byline now. What better way to jumpstart her journalism career than to head out into the woods with a sexy guide? It’s all very Bear Grylls, but she’ll take it, even if it means ditching her beloved designer suits and handbags.

All Sullivan Reed needs in life is a fly rod and the roar of a river. Playing guide to a hot little reporter can’t end well…until they strike a deal that’s mutually beneficial. She’ll pretend to be his girlfriend to deflect an overly flirtatious neighbor, and he’ll help her with the article. It’s a win-win.

Until it isn’t. By the time a storm strands them in his cabin, Sully’s done pretending. He wants Avery—badly—but she’s a big-city girl looking for adventure, not his simple life. So why does releasing her feel like he’s lost the perfect catch?

#Excerpt
The distraction of her gorgeous legs almost did him in. Literally.

Sullivan Reed hit the brakes just in time to avoid a collision in front of the general store.

The curvy blonde in the red jacket didn’t even notice, her focus intent, trying to wrench her purse from the passenger seat of her car—a little foreign number with rental tags.

She was wearing some kind of short pants, not quite shorts but not really a skirt. Must be the new fashion—not that he paid attention to fashion. According to his ex, he never noticed anything.

But he noticed this woman—noticed her long legs, her too-high heels, and what the hell was up with that purse? It was practically the size of Wyoming. What could she possibly be carrying in there? He could pack for a three day trip in a grocery sack.

Not that he cared. He didn’t have time to be thinking about how high her heels were or the enormity of her handbag when he had other things to worry about. Bigger fish to fry. So to speak.

He needed to get in, grab his supplies, and get back to the shop. He’d stayed up late last night tying some new flies and wanted to get the new stock put up this afternoon so he could be out on the creek by dusk.

Early summer in the Colorado mountains was like paradise to a fly-fisherman. Plus he needed the time spent fishing tonight to mentally prepare himself for the visitor who was supposed to arrive tomorrow.

Besides, with that long blond hair and tall curvy figure, the woman in the red jacket was totally out of his league.

Not that he had a league, or even wanted to be in a league. He wasn’t even particularly interested in the game right now. He just wanted to be left alone.

Present company excluded. He reached across the seat and patted the neck of his golden retriever, Sadie.

Sadie was the only female in his life now, the only female he trusted, and that was fine with him. She hadn’t left him, didn’t yell at him to make more money, never nagged him to pick up his wet towels off the bathroom floor, and she hardly ever snored. All attributes that he valued.

The dog whined, sitting upright in the seat of his old truck, her gaze intent on the blond woman.

She stood on the sidewalk, oblivious to him and the fact he’d almost run her down, her large round sunglasses perched low on her nose as she looked over them to read the parking meter.

Sully watched her dig into her cavernous bag for change. He was no lip reader, but he was fairly certain she dropped a pretty clear F-bomb before pulling her hands out and throwing them up in disgust, apparently giving up on the effort.

He stepped out of his truck, his gaze captivated by the way her hips swayed and the swish of the breezy fabric of her shorts against her legs as she hurried into Miller’s Mercantile. He slammed the door and stepped up to the curb, stuffing his hands in the pockets of his shorts and jingling his loose change.

After dropping a quarter into his own meter, he paused in front of hers.

It would serve her right to get a ticket. “Just because this town is small doesn’t mean you can just ignore the law,” he grumbled, half to himself, half to the dog who watched him intently, and then he dropped a quarter into her meter.

Pausing, he thought about the size of her purse—she was probably pretty high maintenance and would be in there for a while.

He dropped in a second quarter.

It is #ReviewTime
Okay, so Jennie Marts presents us her new book HOOKED ON LOVE which is the second book in the Cotton Creek series, and both are standalones. This is the second book I have read by her, and like the first one, I liked it a lot.

This time we have Avery and Sullivan's story. She is a journalist on a mission. Write the best article in order to get the-job-most-similar-to-her-dream-job. And she is determined to do whatever she has in her power to do it, even if it means go to somewhere in the mountains where her phone barely works. He is... everything she needs. Okay, he is a shy and sexy boy who likes a simple life. And he loves his work an spending time with his dog. The simpler the better. Until it is not. When they meet they realize there is something deeper in there, sadly, she just has one week to learn from him and return to her life. They surely have the sparks at first sight. And when the opportunity presents itself... they just need to go with the flow. Sully knows he wants to see where it goes, but his trust in women is not his strong suit.

I enjoyed their story, how they both (specially Sully) had to face their fears. I think this book was so amazing because we are not so used to men having Sully's personality. And I loved it. He was incredible himself. Our heroine was fantastic too, but for me it was all about Sully. I enjoyed and liked their relationship but sometimes she was not my favorite in their story -nothing bad, just that my attention was somewhere else.

Anyways, a fantastic book with moments you would enjoy if you give it a chance. I am sure Sully would get to be a character you would like/love. Highly recommended to contemporary romance readers. A lovely, sexy, hilarious book!!

October 19, 2016, 1 Comments | Comentarios

Welcome to my #ReviewTourStop for Sweetly, Deeply, Absolutely by Kira Archer :) !

Title: Sweetly, Deeply, Absolutely
Author: Kira Archer
Series: Sweet Love, #3
Releasing Date: October 17, 2016
Genres: Entangled Lovestruck

Hello, Mr. Right...for Now.

With a month off from culinary school, Jenny Boyd has some serious party plans. Especially when the hottest guy in the club literally lands in her lap. He’s 6’2” of cocky, sexy, man-candy, and just as commitment-phobic as she is.

She’s definitely off limits…

Graphic designer Jared Crew is shocked when his best friend's sister-in-law doesn’t remember him right away. Luckily, she is more than willing to let him jog her memory, no complications required.

It’s all fun and games...until the condom breaks.

#Excerpt
Gretchen snorted and looked back at His Royal Gorgeousness. “What is he doing?”

“Juggling?”

Jenny watched, mouth open, as Man-Candy juggled three limes in the air while bending backward, tilting his head enough so that the laughing female bartender could pour a shot directly into his mouth. The crowd gathered around him cheered and he popped back up, still juggling.

“Lime!” he shouted.

The bartender tossed a lime slice into the air and he tried to snatch it with his mouth. And missed. To the disappointment of his groupies.

“Again!” he said.

The bartender grabbed another slice, aimed it carefully, and tossed it in an arc. He staggered backward, keeping the limes in his hands going while he focused on the one falling through the air.

“Incoming,” Gretchen said, getting out of the way of certain disaster as he stumbled toward them, his attention intent on the lime slice.

He caught it in his mouth right as the back of his foot connected with their bench. His limes went flying. And so did he. His butt hit the floor. And his head landed face-up squarely in Jenny’s lap.

She yelped and pressed back against the bench. Little good that did her. She couldn’t really go anywhere with him half-laying on her. Didn’t really want to, if she was honest. He was even hotter closer up. Who was she to turn away a gorgeous man who introduced himself with his face in her lap? That would be rude.

He glanced up, opened his mouth, and smiled, the lime slice wedged firmly between his teeth. His friends cheered again and he held the lime up like a trophy. Then he turned his attention to Jenny.

“Hey, there.” He beamed up at her like she was his new best friend. “Sorry about that. I’m usually a bit more graceful with the party tricks.” He slid off her lap and stood, before holding out a hand to help her up.

“Not a problem,” she said. She glanced at the lime he’d dropped on the table. “That was impressive.”

“Thank you.” He looked her up and down and she shivered as if he’d run his hands over her body. And then she returned the favor, biting her lip as she feasted on the incredible specimen of manhood before her.

He gave her a slow, sensual grin that had her sucking in her breath.

“Interested?” he asked.

Nice line. Short, sexy, and to the point. She approved .“Very. You?”

His eyebrows raised in surprise. Maybe he wasn’t used to women who didn’t play hard to get. Judging by the sudden heat in his eyes, he didn’t mind at all.

“Extremely,” he said. “My place?”

She shook her head. “Dance floor.”

He playfully pouted and it was all she could do to keep from sucking his bottom lip into her mouth.

She laughed. “Sorry. Only dancing tonight.” For now. “Still interested?”

“Definitely,” he said.

He walked backward, keeping his gaze glued to hers while he made his way out to the floor. The crowd parted for him like he was Moses parting the Red Sea.

Jenny took a deep breath to try and calm her frantically pounding heart and leaned over to Gretchen, while still keeping her focus on him.

“Don’t wait up for me.”

Gretchen laughed. “Sorry. If things look like they are getting out of hand, I’m going to come drag you away. If you don’t come home tonight, Rick is going to have a total shit fit. He’ll have half the Hoboken PD out looking for you.”

Jenny’s sigh was full of fondness mixed in with exasperation. She loved Rick, but having a big brother who was a cop took the protective thing to a whole new level.

“You’ve got a point. I’ll try and rein it in, but you might seriously have to come pull me off the dance floor.”

“You really think your self control is that bad?”

“I know it is.” Jenny set her drink down. “He’s hot and I’m bothered and that’s a recipe for disaster. Well, it’s actually a recipe for some insanely hot sex. But I guess having my big brother come kick down the door would sort of put a damper on the mood. And Rick was very specific about me making it back home tonight. Ugh. Fine. I’ll try and keep it in my pants, if I must.”

“You must,” Gretchen said with a wink, heading off to do a little dancing of her own.

#Generalities + #Book
The Sweet Love series by Kira Archer has three books so far, they can be read as standalone, and they are so sweet that you need to have care with all the sweetness you could get. I have already read a couple of her books —including this series, so Kira is a known-author for me :) SWEETLY, DEEPLY, ABSOLUTELY is a contemporary romance. Kira tells us about Jenny and Jared's story, one that happens among lots of sweets —same as the other books.

#Characters
Jenny is back from culinary school, and she is happy and ready to enjoy her time. I love her character, she is a friendly girl who also knows how to bake, plus she knows what she want to do with her life, and she will work hard to get it —that is what I like. She is free in her own way.
Jared is a cocky, sexy, man-candy. And she also happens to be his best friend's sister-in-law —but due to some circumstances they have not met appropriately. Anyways, just as her, he is not of the commitment kind. Of course, he is also funny, sweet, and very romantic when he need to be.

#Plot
Of course that being them they have to meet somewhere appropriate for their personalities, so they meet in a party. And they do have to have an insta-chemistry/hot kind of meeting. Sadly, not all ends how they wanted, but the good part is that it was just the start. Their story is full of sexy and happy moments, also it has some shocks, but at the end, all that just make the development of their relationship more fantastic. How they both confront their fears together, and how they are disposed to change some parts of their lifestyles/paths for the other —that is what makes this book so fascinating and amazing.
So far, this book/plot has been my favorite in this series, it is like if the best parts from the other books have been mixed up in order to create an lovely, sexy story.

#Overall + #SoWhatNow?
It is an incredible read, and since it is a standalone, you will enjoy the ride with the same amount of knowledge that if you have read the others. Character are well-fantastic-described + a plot that does not let you look away, what more could you ask for? Kira has made it again. SWEETLY, DEEPLY, ABSOLUTELY is a charming, sweet/emotional, fun, hot-sexy book. I absolutely recommend this book to those who like romance and a pleasant book. I am sure this book will make you have want something as sweet as it.

Book: +5 sweetly-deeply-absolutely stars!

#MeetKiraArcher!

Kira Archer resides in Pennsylvania with her husband, two kiddos, and far too many animals in the house. She tends to laugh at inappropriate moments, break all the rules she gives her kids (but only when they aren't looking), and would rather be reading a book than doing almost anything else. She has odd, eclectic tastes in just about everything and often lets her imagination run away with her. She loves her romances a little playful, a lot sexy, and always with a happily ever after.

Warning: RAINE contains adult situations some readers may find offensive. This is a deeply emotional story that contains violence, explicit sex, strong language, and is not considered suitable for readers under 18.

“Why are you still half-naked and in bed in the middle of the afternoon?”

Her cheeks flamed instantly and Raine kicked the side of Jarret’s hip from beneath the blankets. “You have a serious issue with privacy,” she said, chuckling. Huffing and rolling her eyes, she figured she might as well tell him. “If you must know, I can’t fit into any of my clothes.”

“None of them?” Jarret asked speculatively.

“Not a one. I’m too fat for everything in my closet.” And why the hell did that make her want to cry? It was as if someone had hooked her tear ducts up to a faucet and turned them on and off at will. Frankly, as much time as she spent crying since becoming pregnant, she was surprised she’d never been hospitalized for dehydration.
“Nothing about you is fat,” Jarret assured her.

Rolling her eyes a second time, Raine corrected him. “Have you seen my thighs? I’m fat.” Mirrors and waistbands didn’t lie.

Jarret moved so fast he was a blur and the next thing Raine knew, he’d ripped the blankets right out of her hands. Standing at the side of the bed, Jarret wore a pleased smile as he visually inspected every inch of her while Raine frantically yanked and tugged at the too-short shirt that barely covered her swollen stomach.

“I don’t see this fat you’re talking about,” he said, once he’d finished looking her over. “Show me where all this fat is because all I am seeing is an amazing set of curves and smooth skin that seriously, Raine, is making me harder than hell.”

Her eyes immediately dropped to his crotch where she saw the hard evidence of his statement staring back at her through a loose pair of basketball shorts. Well, Raine thought, freezing in the middle of retrieving the blankets, he certainly doesn’t mince words.

“That’s right, Peach,” Jarret continued. “There is absolutely not one part of you that I don’t find incredibly hot.”

“But I have stretch marks,” Raine complained. She grimaced with every new line that emerged, her body slowly falling to ruin right before her eyes. And he was claiming he found that attractive?

“I’d kiss every one of them if you let me.” Pressing his thighs into the side of the bed, Jarret bent at the waist and planted his fists into the mattress, putting his face directly in front of hers. The heat glowing like embers in his eyes created a tight, tingling sensation to grow between Raine’s thighs as she held his gaze. “Nothing about how I feel about you is right or conventional. In fact, I should send you away right now and spare us both the trouble this is going to cause, but I won’t because something inside me tells me there will never be a sweeter, softer, juicer fruit than you, Peach. I know you’re not ready for me yet, but when you are, there won’t be anything that can stop me from sinking every part of myself into your heat.”

#Generalities
I have read a couple of J.C. Valentine's books, they are enjoyable, sexy, and sweet, something I like a lot. Maybe you have already read this story because this month is its one-year anniversary, maybe you liked it or not, but whatever feeling it made you feel, it is worthy and you know it.

#Book
RAINE is new adult contemporary romance, and it is also an standalone story. This time J.C. tells us about Raine and Jarret's story, from the first time they meet, going through how their story develops, until how their lovely story ends. It is said that this book is not for readers under 18, due to explicit content, I had to mention it.

#Characters
Raine is a shy, quiet, naive and normal girl until she is not. Her senior year she meets Cameron, the most popular guy and who also seems to see her and her personality. It is not like she fell hard for him, but there were some deep feelings involve in their "relationship". Suddenly, she is with him all the time, spending time with his friends, and going to parties -something she is not so happy to do. I like her personality because most of the time she is shy and quiet, but it looks like she is very argumentative when he happens to be close.
Jarret is Cameron's older brother, she thinks they are pretty much alike, but they are not. Jarret has his feet on the ground, while Cameron is more of a have-their-heads-in-the-clouds person and one of those who do not think with the right head, well, Jarret is completely different and unlike of his whole family. He is sexy, sweet, and very responsible.

#Plot
Something happens to Raine, something that is responsibility of Cameron but I think also hers. This event changes everything she knows, and when she confronts his family for all what she went through, they treat her like she does not deserve their time. I hated them. Anyways, she never asked for anything else, and she does not want their helps. Now, she knows she needs help but she has never had it so she highly prone to misunderstand someone when they try to help her. However, when Jarret, OMG!, leaves her no choice but to accept it. From that moment on the real story happens.
The plot was amazing, like the other J.C's books this one has an incredible heroine and a sexy hero. Sometimes I felt like I knew what would happen but even then I enjoyed every single part of the ride.

#Overall
The plot was fantastic, and the characters were well-described, they have that chemistry I love, and it has the perfect twists in the story. It also has many secrets that when they come out, OMG! You just can stop reading!! Definitely it is a worthy-reading.

#SoWhatNow?
I highly recommend it for everyone who likes NA and romance. Also, who does not like a story with a good plot?

Welcome to the #ReleaseBlast for The Right Kind of Guy by Kerri-Leigh Grady!! <3

Title: The Right Kind of Guy
Author: Kerri-Leigh Grady
Series: What Happens In Vegas, #17
Releasing Date: October 17, 2016
Genres: Entangled Lovestruck, Romance

Romance novelist Kelsey Spencer doesn’t believe in love, and she's tired of faking her way through happily ever afters. Determined to change things up, she heads to the Las Vegas Romance Lovers Convention. But somewhere between half-naked cover models and hot Navy SEALs, Kelsey’s plans derail...

Especially once she meets über-fan Jasmine Grant...and Jasmine’s über-hot alphahole brother, Aaron.

Buttoned-up Aaron Grant never thought he’d find himself at a romance convention, but here he is, trying to convince his impulsive sister not to marry a beefcake cover model. His only hope is to enlist the aid of the cynical (and sexy) romance writer his sister worships.

After a sweltering jaunt around Vegas, some strange conference hijinks, and one outrageous proposal, Kelsey and Aaron are left questioning everything they know about romance and love...and if falling in love might just be worth the gamble.

#Excerpt
“You’re right,” she said, and a weight lifted off her shoulders. “You’re right. So…are you going to her wedding?”

He nodded and gave her a half-smile. “Would you like to be my date?”

She laughed. “I don’t know. I might not be here for the festivities.”

He nodded and pulled his arm away, but for a second, she thought she saw disappointment flicker over his features, and she shivered.

When the bartender delivered the fresh beer, Kelsey slid off the stool with her half-finished mojito and lifted her chin toward the casino. “Sir, would you like an escort to the ball?” She offered her elbow, and he took it.

He deepened his voice to a bass. “I’d be much obliged, miss.”

They walked through the casino and took the escalator to the ballroom level. And when she turned to look at him, she warmed to find him staring at her.

“That dress is a pleasant surprise,” he said. They made way for two drunk women, their arms intertwined, to dash past, giggling and failing miserably to hide a bottle of vodka in their skirts.

“How so?” She fingered the expensive fabric—Deena’s consignment shopping was apparently a little more highbrow in New York than what Kelsey had found in San Antonio— and wondered if it looked too expensive for a nobody author like her.

“The color is perfect, but I like how it fits.” He smiled. “You don’t look like an author tonight. You look like royalty.”

She warmed and turned her head, thrilled by his words. But they were a reminder, too. Tonight, she was playing a part, wearing a dress that looked nicer than anything she could afford, and at midnight, she’d have to pick up her pumpkin and mice and find her way back to her desk to whip out more books. And Aaron would return home to rule his father’s kingdom.

#Generalities
What Happens In Vegas is a long series by different authors, the only thing that they have in common is that all stories happen in Las Vegas, so if you did not like one, there is no reason you will not like the others. I have had the chance to read a couple of these books, however, this is book number #17 and my first Kerri-Leigh book ever! I think this is her debut novel or something but I am not really sure about it.

#Book
THE RIGHT KIND OF GUY is a contemporary romance. Kerri tells us about Kelsey and Aaron's story, one as you must have noticed happens in Las Vegas, more specifically in a Romance Convention.

#Characters
Kelsey is romance novelist who just think in HEA when it comes to books but not in real life, after a not-HEA of her own and a lack of imagination when love-in-books is related, she decides she is done with them, but of course, there is something that happens when she has your mind settled. Yes, it is a guy, not any guy, nope, the right kind!
Aaron seems to have all in order but how his sister is handling her life, something must be wrong if he has to follow her to Las Vegas, maybe she is so spontaneous for her own sake, anyways, Aaron, this guy, OMG! He is described as a sexy character who seems to be all I-do-not-need-a-steady-relationship-to-be-happy kind but who is more of a I-do-not-know-what-I-want kind.

#Plot
Kelsey and Aaron have similar thoughts about love, and while they follow his little sister around town, and the more time they spend together, the chemistry between them grows bigger. Plus, if you are not so sure anymore about what you wanted, then it must be for something, no?
The plot was explosive(? I did like it, because I happen to like books when there are authors involve as the main characters, it gives my reading another perspective when it comes to love and HEA. Also, how both characters were described was a good addition to the whole story. I think it was all about them and how they found out their feelings and what they truly wanted, because how-it-happens is just a way through their own HEA, or at least, their happily-for-now story.

#Overall
This book was fascinating to read because not all the time you have a story about an author who do not believe in HEA, plus it was funny, sweet and sexy. And Jasmine/his-sister made it even funnier with all her craziness and the I-will-prove-my-big-brother-that-I-am-capable-of-manage-my-own-life attitude which was incredible.

#SoWhatNow?
You do not need to read all the What Happens In Vegas series to read this one.
If you happen to like romantic comedies with sexy boys in them then you should try this one.
Do not forget to enter the giveaway at the end of this post, it is amazing!
And, finally, HAPPY RELASE BLAST KERRI-LEIGH!! :)

#MeetKerri-Leigh!

Kerri-Leigh Grady loves to sink into happily-ever-after tales and blow-up-all-the-things tales, especially when her testosterone-loaded house has hit its monthly limit of athletic socks and slapstick. She holds an MFA from Seton Hill University and a BS in computer science, so she’s a kind of half-artsy, half-nerd ball of nervous twitching. She has an unnatural love of dark humor, gadgets, chickpeas, BJJ, terrible acrylic landscapes, half-assed jewelry, and planners (Hobonichi and TN, natch). When the zombie apocalypse happens, she’s likely to be patient zero. If you see her bite someone, grab your water and head for your bunker.
