Welcome to the #ReleaseBlast for
Rock Star by Stacey Kennedy :)

Title: Rock Star
Author:
Stacey Kennedy
Series:
A Bad Boy Homecoming, #5
Publication Date:
June 27, 2017
Publisher:
Self-Published

A high school reunion is about to get down and dirty and a whole lot more complicated in this new erotic romance from USA Today bestselling author Stacey Kennedy.
Veterinarian, Rae Evans expects to attend a dreadful ten-year high school reunion. Instead, she’s confronted by a past she’s never gotten over. The love of her life, Travis Walker, has returned to Catfish Creek, and the now-famous rock star wants only three things: Her. Naked. And screaming his name.

Fresh off his last world tour, Travis has returned to town to get a dose of reality. With fame casting a superficial cloud over Travis’s life, he’s scrambling to stay afloat. He needs an anchor, and Rae is that for him. But as he finds himself, he’s determined to remind Rae of the heat that once burned between them.

Before they know it, their one hot night is three, and soon, just like ten years ago, Travis holds the strings to Rae’s heart. But Rae’s not that young girl who watched her high school sweetheart race off to become famous. She’s a woman who knows what she wants and realizes when a man needs her. She just has to decide if she should put the past on repeat, or walk away from it forever.

#Excerpt
She’d always been a pretty girl, but she’d grown into a blindingly beautiful and stunning woman. Her gown fit her like a glove. A gold filigree mask somehow made the creaminess of her skin appear richer. She wore her shoulder-length, brown hair in big waves framing her round face.

Tonight, she didn’t look so fresh-faced and innocent. She looked sexy as hell, and just the sight of her again caused Travis’s cock to swell eagerly.

While he’d talked to her through email, text, and the occasional late-night, drunk phone call every birthday and Christmas over the last ten years, he hadn’t seen her. Not since that day on his parents’ porch. Sure, he’d kept an eye on her through the Catfish Creek Chronicle when they featured her for her charity work, and also on the website for the vet clinic she owned. But after he’d walked the path that led away from her, he’d never found his way back. Life got busy. New friends were found. Fame overtook him.

Now, he was…home.

#MyThoughts

To tell you the truth... I have not read any of the others books in this series. It is probably that I would read them due to how much I liked Rock Star. Anyway, Rock Star comes to be the fifth book in the 'A Bad Boy Homecoming' romance series by Stacey Kennedy. It has been released today so congratulations are in order, Stacey!!

As in the other books --I infer--, RS tells us about a boy who returns to his beginnings. At least, this time he wants to go there, not because he miss the place but due he missing an specific someone. Travis and Rae used to have everything they need because they had each other. Sadly, it was not the right moment for them. Life split them up and now it brings them together. Both of them know this time may not be a forever, however, they will take advantage of whatever opportunity they have together. Rae knew what she wanted --and had it planned-- even before Travis left. She has been living the life she planned and there seems to be not regrets. On the other hand, Travis left the girl he loved in order to live his dreams, but it seems the life he has been living is not enough. For Travis, their high school reunion is the best opportunity he has to be with Rae again. Of course, he will have to persuade her first.
Before they know it, their one hot night is three, and soon, just like ten years ago, Travis holds the strings to Rae’s heart.
Rock Star's plot is about choosing to love again. This is a sweet, hot, cute, and fantastic second chance romance. I highly recommend it if you like rockstars, or second chances, or hot-rockstars romance, or just if you like romance. It is just amazing!

THE SCOT SAYS I DO by Sabrina York

http://sabrinayork.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/SayYesToTheScot-2.jpg

Catherine Ross's world is turned upside down when her brother gambles away every penny they own. But to make matters worse? He’s lost everything to none other than Duncan Mackay, the rugged Scot who Catherine loved for years—but he never noticed her, and now she positively loathes him. But her brother’s in danger of going to Newgate, and the despicable Duncan has a plan– she can claim back the money and save her brother. If she marries him…

READ AN EXCERPT OF THE SCOT SAYS I DO

Duncan glanced at Peter who had dropped back down on the divan and covered his face with one arm. He was no use to either of them at this point. Besides, this business was between himself…and Catherine. He gently pressed her into the king’s chair, took one next to hers and scooted it around until he faced her. “You and Peter have no home now.”

“Not even the Wilds?”

“Not even the stables.” He tried to be as sympathetic as he could. This was difficult for her. Shattering. And it would only get worse. “For you, things are not so bad. You’re a lovely girl. You can marry well.” He ignored her snort. “But for Peter…” He let it hang there like a razor sharp icicle clinging to a roofline as a melt approached.

“But Peter?”

“He has other debts.”

“Oh no.”

“Small ones, but substantial enough for his creditors to ask for retribution.”

They both knew what that meant. Debtors’ prison. A truly nasty end for a feckless lad. But Duncan had the inclination to allow Peter to languish there—at least for a while—to teach the boy a lesson.

“Newgate would kill him,” Catherine whispered.

“It’s not all that bad.”

Her gaze snapped to him. “And how do you know?”

He lifted a brow. He had no intention of telling her that he’d visited and reprieved more than one foolish friend.

“Poor Peter.”

“He did bring this on himself. He gambles like a fiend.” A fiend who thinks he can never lose.

“Can’t you help him?”

Duncan swallowed an outraged laugh. “I believe I already have.”

“I mean, help him more?”

“Buy out all his debts? Return his wealth and property to him? Pat him on his head and charge him to go forth and risk it all again? What kind of fool do you think I am?”

“A heartless one.” She stood and whirled away, which gave him cause to follow.

But honestly, he was not the heartless one here.

When she spun back, he was right behind her and they were far too close. The tips of her breasts brushed against his chest and he nearly swallowed his tongue. She flinched as well, as though the touch had been like a bolt of lightning. She gazed up into his eyes, hers wide and damp. Her lips parted and her pink tongue dabbed out to wet them and his knees nearly failed him.

Damn she was so beautiful. So glorious. He wanted to kiss her now, ravish her. Claim her. He wanted—

“I cannot bear the thought of marrying one of my suitors,” she said, and he was brought back to the moment, his intent, with a powerful lurch.

“There may be a solution.”

She tipped up her delicate chin bravely. “And what might that be?”

So simple. So perfect.

“Marry me.”

Her jaw dropped and he fixated on the sight of her open mouth. If that was not a demand for a kiss, he did not know what was.

He pulled her into his arms, reveling in the warmth, the curves of her slight form, and lowered his head.

She tasted like heaven. Sweet bliss. Just like he remembered from that day when he’d pulled her from the loch and forced her to breathe again. Her scent infused him, enamored him, enraged a long-banked fire within him.

She would be his.

He would have her.

Finally.

Catherine Ross would be his bride, just as he’d dreamed of for so many years. Just as he’d fought and scrabbled and worked for. His life ambition had come to him and the moment was so sublime…

Until she pulled away and stared at him with an odd mixture of shock and fear limning her eyes.

And she hauled back her delicate fist.

And punched him in the jaw.

By the time he’d recovered from the shock of what he could only interpret as her refusal of his suit, she’d whirled away and flounced off to her chambers—God only knew where—in the bowels of the enormous mansion.

But this was only the first salvo in his campaign to win her.

By helping his father renovate his failing Filipino restaurant, he hopes to win back his respect. #Excerpt
Above the low hum of the traffic, the people, and the planes passing overhead, a bell chimes. Then two, then three. Soon, surround-sound church bells, signaling the start of the new day, sweep over the breadth of my view.

“Wow.” The music becomes the backdrop of the city I thought I knew. My eyes follow the path of Market Street and the twinkling outline of the Bay Bridge. It scans to the Transamerica Building, which cuts the ombré of the night sky down to the yellow of the city lights. Sights now enhanced, brought to greater depth and

“Right?” he whispers next to me.

“Beautiful.”

“She is definitely beautiful.”

My breath hitches at Drew’s statement. He leans against the barrier, his back to the city lights. His eyes are solely on me.

This man and I know nothing about each other as adults except for what we revealed in the last hour. He knows nothing of my dreams and hopes. I don’t understand the life he’s chosen. And yet I’m bound to him with leftover feelings that are so innocent and pure, feelings I’m not sure where to place now that they’ve been pulled from memories packed away.

One thing is sure. Right now is perfect.

I approach him, place my hands on his chest.

He rests his fingers lightly on my waist. “Camille—”

I stop him with a kiss. Tonight has been crazy, magical, fuzzy, and weird, and I don’t want to think about consequences, my overloaded plate of responsibilities, of everything waiting for me down there, in the city below.
#MyThoughts

NORTH TO YOU is an amazing reading. It is so light and cute that it has been one of the best reading I have had during the last time. The romance is everywhere. Plus, this is an incredible second chance romance that deserves to be read by you all. And its plot is so good.

You can easily feel Cam and Drew's chemistry along the story. Cam is disposed to do anything to see her little's sister's dreams come true --even if it means to sacrifice what she wants more. However, life can surprise you in many ways. Drew knows what he has to do to "amend" his relationship with his dad. Yet, he is between a rock and a hard place when he has to make a decision regarding who is in future. Anyway, when Cam and Drew are together, it is like there is nothing else. I simply love it!!

Of course, you get a lot more by reading their story. You may get hungry while reading... if it affects you to talk about food --delicious food. Plus, there are a couple of characters towards you may or may not develop a feeling, good or bad. But do not draw conclusions before you get to the best part. Wait for it!

I completely recommend it if you like a cute, beautiful, and hot second chance romance with deserved HEA for its characters.

Welcome to my new #RTS!
The Nanny Arrangement by Rachel Harris

Title: The Nanny Arrangement
Author:
Rachel Harris
Series:
Country Blues #2
Publication Date:
May 22, 2017
Publisher:
Entangled Bliss

Soft-spoken and shy Hannah Fisher is determined to make the man she’s loved her entire life finally see her as a woman. With the help of a makeover, a new mission—Operation Find My Happy—and the convenient forced proximity of a tour bus, she vows to win her best friend Deacon’s heart.

Former bad boy and current fiddle player Deacon Latrell has the world at his fingertips: a new gig with a famous band, plus his best friend on tour as his son’s nanny. Life couldn’t get much sweeter. Now if only he could stop imagining kissing the daylights out of his childhood BFF…

With one friend set on pushing the boundaries and the other afraid to rock the boat, one thing’s for certain—their story would make one heck of a country song.

#Excerpt
The lingerie had been an impulse purchase—an impulse that had then led to an epiphany. Blush and jade. Satin and lace. Toile and mousseline…the colors, styles, and textures had been overwhelming. Trying them on, well, that had been extraordinary. The silk had felt decadent against Hannah’s skin, almost forbidden, and so unlike anything she’d ever worn before. Living an ocean away from everyone and everything she’d ever known, nursing a broken heart, it had been exactly what Hannah had needed.

Initially, she’d fled to Paris to get over Deacon, but more than that, she’d been fleeing the woman she’d sadly become. A woman who sat on the sidelines of her own life. For far too long, she’d allowed other people to dictate her happiness, and that realization, coupled with naughty lingerie and a few glasses of spectacular wine in an adorable bistro, had birthed her new mission. Hannah liked to call it, Operation Joie de Vivre…or Operation Find My Happy.

Her mission was threefold.

First up, no more hiding. Hannah’s bad habit of shying away from experiences simply because they made her nervous was over. Now, she would be bold. Adventurous. Outgoing. Anything from forming friendships to speaking her mind was fair game, with the number one rule being no more skulking in the shadows. Paris had awoken a desire to start truly living—and to stop putting her dreams on hold.

Secondly, Hannah wanted to find her place in the world. The tour with Blue was a perfect opportunity to explore a new option. So far, her contract lasted only through the national leg, with the idea that they’d extend her stay once she’d gotten past a short trial period—a test she intended to pass with flying colors. At twenty-four, she was excited to settle into a career where she could make a real difference, and while she hoped to find that in this position, she was open to just about anything. Band nanny, au pair, or a preschool teacher, they all sounded wonderful. As long as she could make a real contribution, it would fit the bill.

Lastly, but perhaps most importantly—

She was putting her heart on the line, once and for all.

Lingerie may’ve kicked off her mission, but it was the hope of Deacon that gave it life. Denying her feelings all these years hadn’t changed them. Neither had leaving the country. The only thing that would, or so she’d decided, was pushing the boundaries of their friendship. Flirting (an activity with which Hannah had zero experience) and letting Deacon know she was ready for love were all part and parcel of her new plan to get her best friend to finally see her as a woman.

#MyThoughts

I am truly in love with books about best friends falling in love. I think it is the feeling of knowing they are like the perfect half to complete them, perhaps it is because I would want to be with someone that really knows me. Anyway, I like this kind of books.

The Nanny Arrangement is one of the latest books I have read and enjoyed. I did not read the first book in the series, but both of them are standalone so... I did not get lost when reading about characters --which I completely appreciate. Yet, I would really want to read Charlie and Arabella's story because while reading TNA, I also enjoyed getting to know the other characters' relationships. Okay, getting to the point --TNA is fantastic, the plot was fascinating it really captured my mind because I could not stop reading it, plus the two-and-a-half main characters were absolutely amazing, and when it comes to facing their fears, Hannah and Deacon made it worth. Of course, every time little Max appeared on the scene I melted due to his cuteness, he was the best of the book.

Along the book, we are able to understand why Hannah and Deacon did not confess their feeling for each other sooner, and every ups and downs of their friendship makes sense when you get to know what they were thinking/feeling during those periods. TNA is so sweet you would need to be careful. There is no way I will not be reading another of Rachel's books; if they are all like this one, it would be amazing. I totally recommend this and all Rachel's books to every single one of you. TNA is a lovely, and sweet reading --which does include the right amount of drama to make it a great book. And it has of those endings the characters truly deserve.

Book: 4.5 lovely stars!
